Chronos Rider aims to be a proof of skills. By developing this prototype, I wanted to show my analytical and developement skills for the AAA industry, especially in the field of time manipulation.
Before starting the developement I had to analyze the different processes used by the AAA games to make the player feel intense car driving sensations. Also, I spent a lot of time searching how developers introduce key game mechanics.

The prototype features voicelines in order to introduce the time rewind mechanic in a narrative way.
What did I learn from this project ?
- Use of a tool called "Cinema Director" to create the cutscenes
- Design and creation of a playfull driving experience using "Realistic Car Controller"
- Camera Gesture Design for better driving sensations
- Trigger system for events validation
- Creation of two shaders. One to create a stone/high effect another one for the rewind effect
- Creation of a time rewind system by stocking datas on a list throughout the time. When the time is rewinding, datas progressively return to previous position, creating a rewind effect
- Creation of a mini-map showing the player's objective
- Update of the players objective during game
- Creation and integration of vocal dialogues
- Creation of a subtitle system for the dialogues
DRIVING EXPERIENCE
